Project Architect (10+ years)

 

We are seeking a registered Project Architect with diverse project experience, management skills, and a strong design sensibility balanced with technical understanding. The applicant must be able to advance architectural projects through all phases from concept through construction and mentor junior staff. This architect must have an ability to execute design intent via site planning, technical design, documentation, engineering coordination, detailing, and construction, as well as code and regulatory proficiency. The applicant must embody the Living Design Lab culture and mission and have strong communication and interpersonal skills.

 

Key Qualifications and Competencies:

• 10+ years experience in an architecture firm

• Strong design sensibilities with experience in developing design from concept through construction

• Practical knowledge of codes, regulatory processes, design, documentation, and construction administration

• Ability to work across multiple projects at once

• Experience in managing project teams and balancing project schedules

• Skilled verbal, written, and graphic communicator

• Proactive team player with strong sense of ownership in work

• Rigorous attention to detail and consistency

• Proven track record of self-direction and follow-through

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, and Adobe Creative Suite

Staff Architect (5+ Years Experience)

This position will work closely with senior staff & consultants. The applicant must embody the Living Design Lab culture & mission & have strong communication & interpersonal skills.

• Practical knowledge of design, documentation, & construction administration
